The food is delicious with an outstanding presentation of meat, rice and veggies.
The atmosphere is really nice and welcoming, so warm and cosy.
The restaurant is an iconic place in the beautiful arcade, worthy of all the compliments! I would recommend :)

Comment: A beautiful authentic Persian restaurant that's the best in town. The customer service is exceptional and food is delicious. Every time I've tried the meat both lamb and chicken it's always been tender. Definitely do recommend people to get the taste of this amazing Persian food and service here in North Shore!

Comment: Akdeniz looked like a great Persian restaurant judging by the meals around me, but we stopped in for what must be one of the best cafe style coffee and lunch deals in Devonport. The location in the the arcade is just a beautiful place to sit, but we had the toasted sandwich and coffee for $10. The sandwich was delicious and made with a really nice whole grain and seed bread, and the coffee was 5/5. Great location and service.

Comment: Went there 2 months ago. Staff told us there was an hour wait, we said yes fine. 30min later a lady came to us and said actually kitchen is closed. We told her we've waited 30min already. She then went away and came back and said ok fine.
Staff weren't the friendliest, food is average. Salad had no dressing. Wouldn't recommend due to staff. They seriously need to change otherwise losing customers.

Comment: Beautiful ambience and equally beautiful halal Mediterranean food. We ordered family platter for starters which was great and then were bowled by the mains. mix platter for mains was juicy and well cooked. Rice was so delicious and fragrant. I would highly recommend this place

Comment: Very nice persian find in Devonport. Totally enjoyed their yummy food and cozy ambience which is nicely tucked away from mainstream line of restaurants. Mezze platter is a must try appetizer and definitely love to visit them again. Great service too.

Comment: Great food, nice ambience and top hospitality! This little gem of Devenport was recommended by a few friends and I did not have the chance to go until today. I ordered a mix of different BBQ kebab yo find my favourite and it was not easy to find the best as all of them were SO tasty. It’s highly recommended!

Comment: I first dined here with a couple of friends and food was absolutely delicious. Loads of flavour, decent serving size and was a great experience. So I knew it would be perfect for a family gathering we had for a few up and coming Birthday celebrations.
There was 12 of us in total and what can I say! For a family from a different cultural background of the Pacific. They were absolutely astonished on the quality and serving size. We ended up requesting take away plates as we could not finish our food haha The kids were pleased with their food and with the kiddie corner (and I hope they did not make too much of a mess) it’s was pleasing to know that they were fine with us bringing in a cake and allowing us to share it there also (plates and forks provided!)
Only small down fall, is our table of finished cutlery were a bit slow to be collected. Certainly was not hard to bring that to your attention though.
All in all, 12 very satisfied and happy tummies that evening ?

Comment: Great food. The only downside for me what that there was too much to eat (!!). I am neither a slow nor a small eater, but by the end of my meal, my lamb and chicken was pretty much cold. Sometimes, less is more, at least when it comes to enjoying this kind of food. Will happily come back though!

Comment: A fantastic gem hidden away on the main street of devonport. The ambience, service, quality and taste of food is spectacular. Food was fresh, tasty and a truly wonderful gastronomical experience. Definitely recommend and can't wait to go back!
