Comment: Honestly, disappointed! However, the service was fast, with a smile and drinks and food came out very quickly. The meals were good, nothing special nor did it stand out from the norm you would get at any suburban cafe. I wasn't even full after finishing the meal. What really annoyed me was the size of a Large coffee. It really was a medium... barely! And, it was tide out!! I also have to mention the hygiene standards are questionable. The tea pot comes sitting inside your cup... the pot has been sitting on multiple tables and countertops and pretty sure it's not washed after every use. Still it had to sit on a counter before the next order came along. The nice little container holding all the cutlery, who knows how many hands have touched and put it back or grazed them while getting another out. Disgusting in today's environment!

Comment: Absolutely amazing food, fast service even when it's busy! 10/10 would recommend! Absolutely delicious and amazing coffee! Parking is a bit hectic but just look 2 seconds down the road and you will find something.

Comment: Food was nicely plated and looked very beautiful! Looks didnt deceive as the French Toast looked and tasted heavenly! All of the ingredients on the plate complemented each other and was very filling! Very nice ambience too!

Comment: We had the salmon Benedict which was pretty good. I loved the combination. The French toast is the best on the north island we have eaten so far. And we eat at lot of French toast :)

Comment: I love this place! The people are perfect - professional but friendly, the food and coffee is great and the atmosphere is welcoming, with plenty of bustle but also space to have your own conversation or get work done. I would go more often but the open hours are a bit short for me (prefer afternoon to 5pm for work/food/coffee at cafe!). Also, I would love it if there were more GF offerings in the cabinet. Good work Crave!

Comment: Great coffee and atmosphere. I was told by the waitress they could make the the Fungi medley breakfast vegan, but this essentially removed all the components of the dish and was served simply mushrooms on a single piece of toast. Charged the same as full price even though it was half the size. Very underwhelming dish.

Review for the restaurant: I used to work on Queen st and this was my favourite place to go for lunch. Workers are lovely, one time they let me use their bathroom. Good food and reasonably priced!

Review for the restaurant: Lovely restaurant. Cute cats surround the old Monestry, with lovely art filling the halls. Great service, the meals were a little bit underwhelming but the desserts were great. Loved the chocolate bar. Oh and the fish was good too.
