Comment: Unfortunately there were only 2 staff members here on a Saturday morning at 10am, this was our first time here, no welcome on arrival, menus given to us when we found a seat, then the waitress left and did not return for the entire time - after 15 mins we realise we must have to order at counter.
Breakfast finally arrived, but food was cold - toast, bacon, poached eggs all cold. This was recooked for us and was nice second time around.
We purchased a hot chocolate to take away - this was luke warm. Didn’t bother to say anything and left knowing we would not return again.

Comment: Superb coffee (the picture doesn't do it justice)! Went there on a rainy day, wanting a hot beverage and Gilli's did not disappoint. Although we didn't try the food, we loved the service and ambience (so many snake plants!) Check it out if you're in the area.

Comment: Friendly and fast service at this welcoming cafe, which has a nice ambience with high ceilings and bright sunlight thanks to floor to ceiling front windows. Comfy seating including benches with pillows if you so desire.
Really nice mocha here, and coffees and teas are served in really nice stone or earthenware cups and mugs, which seem to help retain the heat for longer and are pleasing to hold and drink from.
Have had the granola and fruit breakfast and can recommend it, and definitely going to try the Croque Monsieur next time for lunch. Easy walking distance to Newmarket shops and restaurants.

Comment: Love the vibe,the whole super tall celling industrial fit out.dont feel lound and really can hear conversation when you sit in unlike some other caffees.the manager is super, very nice and friendly
