Comment: Had two pizzas there and I could easily say was the best pizzas I've eaten in my whole life. Order two with the intention to bring home, but ke and my partner could not resist and ended up eating both. Plus the environment is very cozy, nice music, relaxing, warm, family friend and good to have a intimate date or meeting. Strongly recommend.

Comment: Great atmosphere. Staff made a small mistake but were so onto it and really made us feel welcomed. It was a great day. The sun was perfect and the garden so cute. Food was on point. Nice pesto!

Comment: Okay 2 things... 1. Tonight we used our 2 for 1 pizza voucher at the beauty that is Hemingway's Devonport I can't compliment them enough on, food, hospitality, ambience and just overall warm and friendliness. 2. The Strawberry Daiquiri??? I've not had such a good one since living in South Africa almost 8 years ago.

Comment: We went for mother's day. When we arrived we were told the kitchen was closing and we're the last table. Our meals came out over about 40 minutes with one completely forgotten. Several were cold and the $40 steak was incinerated.

Comment: Some really great staff at Hemingway’s -so friendly and down to earth. This place feels so comfortable and welcoming. The lamb rack and paella were great options and the wine was well matched.

Comment: Very nice small garden style restaurant. The food was fantastic, mostly seafood oriented, cocktails were delicious and the staff were very friendly. The outlook is nothing special, views of Mt Victoria only, but the patio does catch the afternoon sun well and the gardens are nice. Great dinner or for 3 of us.

Comment: Such an amazing restruant! Such a nice warm and welcoming atmosphere. The food is delicious! The tirimisu is the best I have tasted in Auckland (probably New Zealand actually!) and the steak was cooked perfectly! The staff are so friendly and accomodating. Thank you! We will be back!

Review for the restaurant: I used to work on Queen st and this was my favourite place to go for lunch. Workers are lovely, one time they let me use their bathroom. Good food and reasonably priced!

Review for the restaurant: Lovely restaurant. Cute cats surround the old Monestry, with lovely art filling the halls. Great service, the meals were a little bit underwhelming but the desserts were great. Loved the chocolate bar. Oh and the fish was good too.
