Comment: Excellent dining experience. The staff were friendly and the food was delicious. We came on a Thursday night around 6:30 and the restaurant was full already so we had to wait a little bit for our table but it was worth the wait. From entrees to mains to desserts, everything was delicious.

Comment: I have been to Prego twice recently and both times ordered the fish soup.
It can’t be faulted. Delicious base of fish stock and moist fresh shellfish snd fish. You can feel it doing you good!! Friendly helpful staff and comfortable atmosphere.

Comment: Wow what an experience & on the busiest day of the year "Mothers Day" the food & the staff were outstanding.
The food was so amazing & every dish we had the flavours were so full of depth.
Thank you all to the amazing staff who worked bloody hard today.
We will definitely be back....

Comment: Nice service but the food was a miss. For a reputation, prices and location I expected better food. Pizza base was particularly unpleasant, it was dense and dry. Even gluten free pizza bases have better taste and texture.

Comment: Bad experience. My mum asked for pizza with no pepper and chilli as she has an allergy to those ingredients. She ate half of it without knowing there was pepper in it, and it was only until later in the day she had allergic symptoms. Because she took home the rest of the pizza, I was able to try it, and discovered the seafood marinara topping was seasoned with pepper.
In terms of the food quality and taste, it's 5 stars, but because they could not follow instructions, we are very disappointed.

Comment: Renowned for their food, quaint atmosphere, was packed, they could expand the waiting area. We had booked for 16 to 18 people, unfortunately two people couldn't fit at the one table provided. The service was good. Oysters were the stand out food item for me. I would revisit but only if we are guaranteed a table that allows you to feel like your not feeling squashed.

Comment: Always amazing. Food is great and very reasonable. You'll probably end up having a great time and spending as much or more on your drinks than your food. Calzone is very filling and is probably best to share with a salad. Classics are always great. Top service. One of my favourite places. No bookings unless for larger groups. Expect to always be busy & popular. Parking often fine.

Comment: Great lunchtime service from the tall young waiter for our table of 10. Especially as the restaurant was full.
Food was very nice. Scallop entree only had 2. A little mean I thought. My surf & turf steak was extremely tasty and tender if a little on the medium rather than rare side.
Restaurant is very noisy. So if you want to be seen but not heard a good place to go ?

Comment: Great food, and therefore busy at meal times. Awesome support from staff when kids got impatient waiting for a table. Attentive, but not in your face table service during the meal. Personally prefer food with a little less salt, so taste your food before adding more. My steak perfectly cooked, juicy and very tender.

Comment: The Prego team were fantastic. We had a large lunch group booking and they really looked after us from start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble and the food was absolutely delicious and served together without a long wait. A great place for a large group lunch booking. Highly recommend.

Comment: Customer service was amazing from the time we arrived til the time we settled the bill (quality was worth the cost). We were seated straight away and outdoor heating was perfect. Table water was being topped up without waiting to be asked and the food was fresh, tasty & hot when served. Atmosphere was great with music and lighting definitely setting the mood for an enjoyable Sunday dinner. Highly recommend this joint ?.
