Very bad attitude, worst customer service experience... should be less than 1 st star.. but there no option for that...

This place has changed hands and the new owner seems very quiet. The fish and chips were good that said the previous owner gave me some of their hair at no extra cost... might have to give it another try to give a better rating.

Was a bit dubious going in but the chips were awesome, really good fish all cooked perfect. Look forward to going back. Didn't get 5 stars as we got pineapple fritters and they were put in with the salted chips and not separated into a seperate bag with some cinnamon sugar. But thats nit picking really as they were good too!

Since they changed owners I no longer like the food. The amount of chips is very small compared to last owners which gave x3 the amount for the same price. Both the fish and chips are overly browned and too salty.

Fresh food and not so oily very nice, definitely recommend this place.

Not a great experience, place stinks badly, Fish was old and smelly ,chips was soggy , Guess they re-cooked the left overs.

I really wanted to like this place. The guy was friendly and I'm always hoping to find a great fish'n'chip shop. But the fish was terrible. The batter soggy and the fish didn't taste very fresh. I will keep searching the area for a good, reasonably priced (what's up with fish'n'chip shops charging so much these days) place for my regular fix.

The best value F&C in NZ and lovely people. This is my stop off each time I visit Auckland to see my Mum.

Worst fish & chips I've ever had. The fish tasted terrible, very fishy, the coating was soggy and undercooked, but the fish was overcooked and chewy. The chips were okay. The fritters tasted like raw potatoes. Go to the Sandringham fish & chip shop instead, it's much better. The food here is disgusting. 0/10.
