Comment: Maybe chef's have changed. Soggy rice. Teriyaki chicken bland and tasted like it was microwaved. Fried rice was not fried., soggy mess. Steak was ok. Great atmosphere, probably covid has had an impact.

Comment: The selection of dishes are great pairing for the alcoholic drinks...it is a sakebar after all. The serving are like tapas...so you can definitely order more even if you're drinking alone. But definitely more enjoyable if shared with friends. And of course, the staff are nice and cheery.

Comment: I am not sure what it lacks but I feel there is something missing from this place. The food is a little hit and miss, some dishes are on point while other dishes struggle to meet the mark. Service was good, that's where 3 stars come in, the FoH staff saved the day.

Comment: I always order too much for myself because everything tastes so amazing. The atmosphere is so cool and the people that work there are also really cool! This is my favorite place to eat and it will knock your socks off! I also really love the spicy prawn roll sushi, it's delicious!

Comment: Fantastic.
I was worried when my family wrote down SO MANY numbers (dish identifiers), but when they came the food was so damn good we made pigs of ourselves and had to roll back home.

Comment: Been here a few times and always impressed with the food and service. All the staff are friendly especially Mikki. Good place to have family dinner with children or for business lunch/dinner. Highly recommended, will definitely come back again.

Comment: Eel don was oily and small.
Yakisoba was tasteless, even takeaway stores are better at it.
Prawn tampura was super bland, and we waited for 20-ish minutes for it to come. Sashimi and bbq chicken were good tho.
Price was definitely too high for what you got

Comment: I used Sake bar Nippon Takapuna for 21st birthday party. Staff members are all very proactive and considerate. They handled our requests with smile, which made the whole party very comfortable and enjoyable. They even joined our happy birthday singing with their ridiculous costumes and Japanese drum. It was so funny! Of course food was nice. The party was such a special and memorable one because of your hospitality. Thank you so much.
