Comment: Always perfect food, as you would expect from the restaurant name their donburi bowls are excellent. My favourites are the Teriyaki steak and Katsu chicken Staff are friendly and efficient, couldn't be happier and will keep coming back, especially considering how affordable it is!

Comment: My go-to dishes here are the Katsu Chicken with Egg Don and the Spicy Crispy Chicken Don! The Curry Beef Udon I tried for the first time recently and it’s good too. They have a really wide variety on their menu. The staff are friendly and efficient. Tables are quite close together so it can be a little cramped sometimes!

Comment: Lovely little place. Perfect serving size and delicious. My husbands meal lacked flavour (egg chicken katsu) but he still ate it and just used some of my meat to flavour it. What you would expect to pay price wise. Definitely be going back again

Comment: Super cool little Japanese restaurant. Lovely helpful staff and happy to cater to bigger groups. The food was delicious and came out pretty quick! Their cocktail specials were yum too. Would definitely come back

Comment: We are the regulars of the don. We really like the food. But the reason I give them this five stars is their practices in reaction to COVID-19. They actively prevent the lockdown again by instruct yoy to scan qr code. Keep the tables seperated. And every staff is wearing a mask. It makes you feel safe to eat here!

Review for the restaurant: I used to work on Queen st and this was my favourite place to go for lunch. Workers are lovely, one time they let me use their bathroom. Good food and reasonably priced!

Review for the restaurant: Everytime I get D19. thick noodle vegetarian the broth is so good. The tofu slices have cured me of all illness. For $14 this is one of the best meals in Auckland CBD.

Review for the restaurant: Lovely restaurant. Cute cats surround the old Monestry, with lovely art filling the halls. Great service, the meals were a little bit underwhelming but the desserts were great. Loved the chocolate bar. Oh and the fish was good too.
